Fantasy Forest Elf and Fox Coloring Page for Teens

Teens 13–17Fantasy

Step into a magical fantasy forest with a leaf-crowned elf standing beside an alert fox companion. Towering ancient trees frame the scene, their trunks wrapped in decorative spiral rings that beg for color! Layered ferns, detailed mushrooms, and winding vines weave into mandala-like patterns around them. Teens will love the big, clear outline areas—perfect for blending and bold fantasy palettes.

Coloring Tips

Try a deep forest palette: emerald and pine greens for the trunks and ferns, then add warmer highlights (golden yellow) to the spiral rings for a magical glow.

Color the elf’s flowing robes with 2–3 coordinating tones (teal, violet, and soft brown) and use a darker shade along robe folds to show motion.

Give the fox an earthy base (rust, cinnamon, and cream) and use a slightly darker lineweight area shading around the ears, tail tip, and muzzle to make it look alert.

For the mandala-like vine motifs, alternate accent colors (turquoise + magenta, or lime + orange) in symmetrical sections, then switch one side to a contrasting palette for the asymmetry.

Use colored pencils or gel pens for teen-friendly detail: lightly layer mid-tones first, then add crisp shadows under mushrooms, around gills, and behind the elf’s crown to create depth.
