Fantasy Griffin on Cloud Cliff Coloring Page for Teens

Teens 13–17Fantasy

This fantasy coloring page shows a majestic griffin perched on a jagged cliff above a sea of clouds. Its broad wings are spread in ornate symmetry, with feather patterns, stars, and sparkly magical orbs around it. Teen colorists will love the bold, clean contour lines and distinct sections for sky, rock, and creature. A fun detail to try: swirl the wind motifs near the talons to make the cliff feel like it’s roaring with magic.

Coloring Tips

Use a cool gradient for the cloud sea (light gray to deeper slate) and keep the ribboned cloud areas slightly lighter under the cliff for depth.

Color the griffin’s mane and feathers in layered tones: dark brown/black base, then add medium highlights on the geometric feather sections.

For the cliff face, try jagged “block” shading—darker shades in the crevices between rocks, lighter tones on the edges of the geometric patterns.

Make the magical orbs pop by outlining swirls in bright gold or cyan, then filling the orb centers with a lighter tint and leaving tiny white sparkle dots uncolored.

Use colored pencils for crisp feather detail on the ornate symmetry and markers/brush pens for quick, even fills on the sky and rock sections—avoid bleeding by using marker only on open areas.
