Coloring Tips

Color the turtle shell shards with a teal-to-turquoise gradient, then add darker teal shading near the lead lines for a stained-glass glow effect.

Use coral reds and warm oranges for the reef fans, switching to golden yellow on a few shard highlights to mimic sunlight filtering through water.

Leave the shard outlines crisp: color up to the black lines (don’t cross them) so the “glass” look stays clean and jewel-like.

For bubbles, use a light blue base and then add a tiny white highlight dot in the upper-left of each bubble shard; a white gel pen works great.
