Coloring Tips

Color Santa’s hat and coat in classic red and white, then add light yellow for the buckle area to make it pop for preschoolers.

Use bright green and teal for the brontosaurus body, keeping the big shapes solid—then color the underside of the neck darker green for a simple “shadow.”

Give the T-Rex a friendly mix like orange with yellow spots; color the tiny arms light orange so they’re easy for little hands.

Color the stegosaurus plates sky blue, and add a darker blue line around each plate edge to help children stay inside the bold outlines.

Use a thicker crayon or washable marker for clean fills in the large open dinosaur spaces, and leave the sun circle and rays for last to avoid smudges.
