Cursive F questions

Does the capital cursive F join the next letter?▾
No. The capital F stands on its own. Lift the pencil and start the next letter just after it, with a small gap.
Why is the cursive f so hard?▾
It has two loops, one up to the top line and one below the baseline, and they are on opposite sides. Practice the top loop like an l first, then add the bottom loop.
Which letters are like the cursive f?▾
The f belongs to the loop letters, which swing up from the baseline into a tall loop: b, e, f, h, k, l. Letters in the same group start the same way, so many teachers practice them together.
